top mounts fitted correctly?

hi guys i have bilstein b14 fitted to my e92 and i fitted them myself. they have been fitted since last summer and only have about 7k miles on them, newtop mounts were fitted too, i was messing about with my car today and noticed an arrow on the rubber of the top mount. i also noticed they are both pointing to the right hand side of the car and now i am worried they are not in the right location what is the arrow for? can anyone help?

yeah the thread is double the length the nuts and strut brace are from an m3
