Car won’t start - Start assistance Inactive and Transmission Fault (E92)
E92 325d 2010 (LCI) Auto
3 weeks ago I went to get 4 wheel tracking done at a reputable local garage. Tracking done in about an hour. They brought it down off the ramp and took it for a quick drive down the road and back (literally gone about 2 mins) and then parked it up and handed me the keys whilst I paid. I went out to the car and it refused to start, it doesn’t even sound like its trying - No starter solenoid click etc, just glow plug pre-heat on the dash, then Start assistance inactive and Transmission fault. I think the FRM may also be dead as the lights, windows and door locks don’t work - Probably due to the garage trying to jump start it? Came back the next day and managed to get it to start and get it home. It hasn’t moved since, throwing the same faults. Ive tried a new battery and checked the ground strap on the engine/starter and seems fine. Fault codes being displayed: DME/DDE 4DF3 - 61 4BE3 - 61 4BE8 - 61 4DDD - 61 DSC D357 - 64 KOMBI A3AA - 60 A3C1 - 60 A3B4 - 60 FBI AA1C - 68 Any ideas before I have to get it trailered? Thanks! |
