Could I damage / stuck open Injectors by vacuum cleaning them from both sides ?
basically I removed them doing valve cover gasket change, I watched tutorials to not put any dirt in fuel system, so vacuumed them thoroughly with pretty high sucking pressure at the top and from small distance on the botom (no touching the tips), also one more time when they were installed in a car with all suction power
now the car won't start, the code is 4b90 (low rail pressure) it has about 7BARs instead of 300. I also run fuel bleed test via DIS v57 today for 3 minutes clealy hearing the pump working then followed directions from test, tried starting the engine, and the same story, no start and came out same code 4b90 and also 7BAR rail pressure, even after fuel bleed.... I read about injectors stuck open, and then I read someone cleaning them and had same problem https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1339565 PS: initially I thought i have air bubbles, but it seems it's injectors because fuel bleed should have at least raise rail pressure by some, but it didnt, so it had no effect Last edited by bmwdiesel; 07-26-2020 at 12:57 PM.. |
