New to BMWs. Need help with Exterior Mods

So I purchased my first BMW a few months back. A 2009 335i, LCI. Has the sport package rims seats and suspension. What are some good exterior mods I can add that would go well with this car?

Image didn't work. I use tinypic to upload my pics here. All you need to do is upload the pic there, resize it to the message board setting then copy n paste the IMG code here.

Well as for the exterior, you've already got the black grills and black window trim so that's good. Maybe some darker window tint, wheels and suspension drop. Also the orange reflectors on the front bumper can be changed put and replaced with ones that match the color of your car. You could do a nice front lip, and maybe even some M3 side skirts. If you decide to keep your front bumper, I would paint those little slats in there black.

Thank you! Is it possible to replace just the diffuser on the stock rear bumper?

No. You do not have diffuser.

Welcome to world of modding. You have such a good car with great options already even the bumper has no holes for license plate. Seriously though, I would start subtle. I would personally do the following that will look good on your car without breaking the bank and easy bolt on:

AE LED
Spacers
Carbon front splitters
Carbon M3 style rear spoiler
AlpineE93 mentioned spray paint slats and change reflectors.
+1 on tint

Do spend the money on performance though. Tune, shocks, exhaust, etc. before major exterior.

You may debadge your car (get rid of "335i" on trunk).

I think your new BMW looks good just the way it is. Looks nice and clean. I prefer my car to be stock. Less is more in my book.

An M3 trunk lip and Aero front lip would be a good start.

A little late to the party, but I've got a 335i in Space Grey as well and one of my favourite mods I've done to it are replacing the side indicators with a smoked out LED version of them. I'll link the forum page to the ones I purchased, its such an easy and inexpensive upgrade that I think totally changes the car for the better.

Just answered a similar question on another thread
While mine is a E92, this is how its turned out after doing the external mods
M3 front bar, hood, skirts, fenders, CSL boot, M sport bumper, side extensions and front lip.... some people dont like putting M3 parts on E9x but I think it turned out ok

Socket, I think that you have the gold standard of E92 mods. I usually do not like it when people put M3 rep bumpers on their non-M but you went the extra mile and I respect the work.

New to the Bimmer field as well, purchasing an e93 335i in the near future. Cosmetic wise, Already plan on doing a carbon fiber rear wing, coil overs, gloss black kidney grilles, muffler delete, bmw light door panel things (they shine the bmw logo when the door is opened), halo lights, and tint. Any other essential cosmetics I could do to really make the car stand out?

What ever you do DO NOT GET THE LIGHTS THAT SHINE THE BMW LOGO ON THE GROUND. That is the most cancerous "mod" for any vehicle ever.
