Good service from Tischer BMW
Just ordered a few parts online from www.getbmwparts.com and got this e-mail after I placed my order:
"Thank you for your business! The aluminum pedal pads and footrest are both on special! I'll change the price for you! Thank you! -Evan" Good service that I think deserves a little recognition. |

I've ordered from TischerBMW online store and their prices are 20-35% off the regular prices. But if you go inside the dealer they will charge you the full retail..I asked why so, guy said that they are trying have people go to online so they don't have to come in and waste time. So far they've been great, and you can actually email them back and forth and ask questions on products ,shipping, etc. For example when I inquired about blacklines online they gave me $235.00 no shipping charges, but when I went to the store to pick some other parts I asked to see what they charge, he said full retail since I didnt order online which would be $325.00. Saving of $90 bucks just for going online......below is link to their website (actually to the specials they are running for E90/91/92/93 series)...check it out...

Google parts first
I also bought my E90 from Tischer, and while I think the sales experience was good, I am not so convinced that their parts are "cheap". While you have to be careful, I think you can find genuine BMW parts on-line for less money at known merchants. One example: chrome exhaust trim. Tischer lists the retail as $64/each (you need two), and their "discounted price" as $51.20/each. A quick internet search turns up several sites that offer these trim pieces for $35/each, or less - same BMW part number.
