Is a Bastuck Section III a direct bolt-on to Eisenhaus SR pipes?

Hey guys, does anyone happen to know if a Bastuck section III (rear section) will bolt-on directly to a set of Eisenhaus SR pipes (section I & II)? I tried looking at pics online, but its really hard to tell without seeing the exhaust in person so if anyone has any experience with this can you please let me know. Thanks.

short answer: No

there is the OEM pipe which goes from the S/R pipes over the axle to the Bastuck muffler.

Hmmm... my SR pipes extend past the rear axles.

Do you have this setup on your car?

no, but the SR pipes and the bastuck muffler doesnt displace the OEM H-pipe.

best way, ask crazy bimmer or Mike from IND or a other member which have the Bastuck with SR pipes on the car. (or ex-car)

but i'm sure they are not a bolt-on.

Ok, I'll shoot some PM's to try and find out for sure.

I know that on my coupe the SR pipes replace everything up until the muffler, but I appreciate the info.

They are Eisenhaus (fake eisenmann) midpipes. They replace section I and II of the stock exhaust.

oh sorry, i was thinking you just have the second-cat delete pipes.

so with section 1+2 i dont know, but i think, if they are a bolt-on on the OEM muffler, they should fit on the Bastuck too.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to explain that I have both sections I & II.

Someone has to have this combo... BUMP!

Its bound to work, and even if they are slightly off, Im sure a good shop can do a little here and there to make it all hook up.

I believe that he only has the Eisenhaus section I so he still needs the stock midsection to work so it wasn't bolt-on. With a welder and some piping anything can be done, but I would rather not go through the hassle.

I can't believe that no one has section I & II with a bastuck muffler.

Hey, thanks for the link. I actually spoke with him and he informed me that he only has the section I SR pipes as well with the stock section II piping. He didn't think that it would be a direct bolt-on with the full SR pipe setup and the bastuck rear. I would like to see a pic of where the stock exhaust is cut to install the bastuck rear section... that would let me know if it would work or not.

Yeah, I actually wanted to run the full setup. I was told at the time from IND that it wouldn't bolt on directly without modification, so that is why I shied around from that route, but to honest I doubt you get much sound change since there is not cat in that pipe. I think they run at the same thickness as stock or are they smaller? I might be switching my downpipes soon to be full catless maybe...

I wonder what the exhaust will sound like completely catless as well. I fear that it'll be way too loud plus have some serious drone. Someone needs to be the test dummy
