Clutch Pedal Feel

So whenver I let out the clutch I feel like slight pulsate in the gas and brake pedal. It happens like a split second after the clutch is released. Any ideas? It did it once before, for a day about a month ago. Now it just started again. Car has 24000 miles on it.

Hmm.. aren't all e9xs drive-by-wire? I don't think there is any force feedback mechanism on the gas pedal that will generate that kind of response..

I did have issues where my floor mat kept slipping forward and getting caught behind the clutch which made my break pedal and gas feel "funny" when ever I engaged/disengaged the clutch. I just keep pulling the mats back from time to time now.

Hope this helps!

I had the same trouble on and off for 20K Km. I also had sporadic sticky clutch pedal feel too. I had my brake fluid flushed for maintenance and it miraculously went away.

No one had ever heard of the problem and BMW wasnt able to reproduce it. 5K Km later and I haven't experienced it since.

I track the car often and will do another brake fluid change at the end of the summer.

Good luck.

You couldn't be more correct! Finally got up in there to take a look around to find where this pulsation was coming from, low and behold, it's the friggin floormat getting caught on the bottom of the pedals and flopping back down.
