f30 3.5in single downpipe on 2011 e90 n55?

As the title states, I am trying to make a single exit downpipe and mid-pipe for my 2011 e90 with the n55 motor. A few posts mention to just modify the catless downpipe by cutting off the split flange and making it single. My plan after the dp is to make a custom 3.5 inch mid-pipe with a 3.5inch vibrant resonator. Put a Y-pipe at the rear axel to split into the factory mufflers.

MY Question is... will a 3.5 inch catless downpipe from a 2012-13 f30 PWG fit in my 2011 e90? I can't find any info on this topic. I believe it would probably fit, as the engine is exactly the same. In theory it should bolt up to the turbo, only the mounting brackets I would have to worry about possibly?

This would make it cheaper/easier than cutting up an aftermarket e90 dp and making it a single exit if I can just bolt in a f30 dp and fab up the exhaust to fit the pipe.

No one has really done this that I can find other than this but its paired with a Black Market Racing 3.5 inch Track exhaust (extremely loud) but good sounding.

I'm not sure about the O2 bung placement on the F30 pipe. You can only see one in this pic, so you'd have to make sure the wiring is long enough for each one if you don't want to extend them. It also looks like the F30 pipe not as straight as the E90 pipe and has that flex section. It may fit fine though since there's plenty of room in that area for a catless downpipe, so you could fit a custom exhaust to it as long as there's clearance. These are the VRSF pipes which don't have mounting brackets, so that wouldn't be an issue.

Regarding the O2 placement, here are much better shots.

Hi, did you finally do it? I was planning on doing the exact same thing with my e82 and have the same fitment concerns
