had cyl 1 and 3 shut down on me when shifting to 5th gear. according to my tuner the car went into fuel mode 15. car is having serious post shift corections. also, any way to mitigate post shift boost spikes?
Lamda bank 1 seems to be the problem...you are running too lean after gear chagne...dangerously lean...fix it first. Fuel injectors or not sure what

STFT’s aren’t trying to adjust for that variance though. They remained relatively unchanged then they resorted to 0 which is what my tuner referred to when he was talking about fuel mode 15. He said car runs open loop thus ignoring 02’s and that’s why he said they were reading that way.

If you look at STFT’s during those ultra lean events you’ll see it’s not trying to adjust.

If cyl 1 and 3 are turning off, I would think that’s why. Idk how these cars work but I’d figure the car kills injectors, but it’s obviously still pushing air rthrough so it’s going to be lean. My question is what’s causing a misfire if it’s not knock? I think only way to have timing corrections is from knock sensors (I may be wrong) but if that’s the case it’s not knocking because there’s no correction. Makes me think it’s gotta be ignition related. I wondered if it’s spark blowout

Post shift timing corrections are common, to be honest I'm not sure how to minimise it. BM3Rrrr might have a better idea.

Are you running XHP trans tune?

What do you think the overboosting could be a symptom of?

Also, unrelated, I think my MAF sensor needs to be replaced, I’ve had a lot of the typical symptoms of a bad one, and cleaning it helped for about 2 days, but it’s back to normal again.

Its quite common to have post shift timing corrections, not too sure how you would address this especially if you have no timing corrections during the pull.

Pardon me, I’m a newbie to MHD, how do I choose the version? I’m running v1.60 right now, stage 1 93 octane, until I get my FMIC in then I’ll go to 2+.

I tried V5.1 E40 Stage 2+ just for fun.... man this version feels like a monster, but the throttle on this map is a bit strange and sensitive even after a throttle reset. This is about 50 miles of total drive time. Next I want to compare it to the V9 Stage 2+ E50

Are you supposed to be resetting the throttle adaptations every time you flash a new map? Just wondering..because I've never done that.

No, but I never did it since I purchased my car so I thought it might help the car "relearn" my driving style.
