New Aftermarket Headlights Question
I'm replacing my bad aftermarket lights with some better aftermarket lights. They are plug and play, but they have a plug I don't know how to use. It's a small whiteb plug in a housing that goes nowhere in my 2008 328i.
Can I just snip the wires and seal them off? Or should I just leave the plug hanging? |

That looks like the connector for one of the AHS motors. Here are 3 pictures. Your connector shown has 5 pins. I found the same 5 pin connector on one of my internal headlight harnesses. I have a side project going so I have lots of parts out on my work table.
Pic 1 is the 5 pin connector. Pic 2 is the connector mater to the motor. Pic 3 is the motor by itself. |
