e90 Enkei Raijin's finally on!

So after lots of debate on sizing/brands etc I decided to pull the trigger and get a set. I have not seen many e90's with these wheels nor this set-up. Specs are 18x8.5 front (235/40); 18x9.5 rear (265/35). I was contemplating going wider on the tires, however decided to stay due to the overall rolling diameter.
Tires are DZ102's which I have heard great things on. Just picked up the e90 so I can't state on the overall ride/comfort as of yet.

I can tell you from experience that you should have gone with wider tires.

9" wheel needs a 245 width tire and 10" wheel needs a 275 width tire (maaaaybe you can get away with a 265 depending on the tire style)

I have a different wheel but same widths and initially had 235/265 and the lip is too exposed and prone to damage. You will damage those lips.

Now im running 245/275 and it hugs the lip just right.

Either way, you got a very nice set of wheels. Nice wheel style and a good colour.

You had me worried and I double-checked and misspoke. Wheels are 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. Ended up going back and forth numerous times on sizing/pricing/tire choices etc - I was given quotes on 4 different configuration options on these wheels. Do you think I need to go with a 245/275 on these as well?

In respect to the rolling diameter the current setup is ideal, however if you don't mind the offset rolling diameter I still think 245/275 would give you that nice flush look with the rim and some lip protection.

I'm sure someone with the exact setup can comment.
