My car got PPK2 installed from the factory and I'm wondering if a software update at the dealer will dull my car down like so many others have reported. Does having PPK mean I'll get a different update that doesnt dull the car?

If it's from the factory, ISTA/P will automatically know you have PPK2 and will update your car with the right software.

If for some reason they don't, you'll know because the burbles will be gone.

Right, but does the software update that people complain about affect a car with the PPK2 package in the same way?

I have no idea. I don't know how PPK2 software has changed over the years.
