Yes you can go to the dealer modded...

Took my car in this morning to have the 1st oil service done and fix the cigarette lighter cover. My car is runnning catless DP's, Full exhaus, and AA Xede. I dropped the car off without removing a thing. Picked it up later today and everything was fixed. ...Service writer didnt mention a thing.

I dont know if the dealer ignored the mods or I was lucky?
Anyways it CAN be done

Yeah but I think going in for a cigarette lighter is nothing compared to going in for something like a wastegate issue...Do u know if they noted it on their computers...Your service receipt doesn't show it, but I think it was a bad move on your part after hearing Boosted situation!

Nope no wastegate issues...Some were saying they were having problems taking their car in even for service! They didnt have any problem...I spoke the SA for a bit he said everything went fine..They would have said something if they were going to flag my car

They didn't red flag it, but they could have noted that u had some modification done to the car, in which the next time you bring it in for something that is with powertrain, they may treat u differently....But then again it looks like you guys have expensive toys and maybe the SA is just taking care of u in a very special way!!

I'm glad you had a great experience, but I don't understand why people use the experience of the SA to determine warranty work.

Do you realize that it doesn't mean $hit if your SA is nice to you or not?
do you know who makes the decision? The tech dpt. They are the ones that you have to worry about.
The SA's job is to kiss your butt.
The tech's job is to make sure they follow the rules.
The have different notes than the SA's notes.

Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but I believe that there are a bunch of people that are thiking of this the wrong way.
It has nothing to do with the relationship between your SA and yourself.

This thread is kind of like saying...

"You really can run a red light and not get a ticket."

The question is...Do you want to take that chance?
