Eibach Springs but which dampers

So I've been running by Eibach springs for a while now and i think they give the perfect drop. Unfortunately I think my rear shocks are on the way out so its the perfect time to refresh all my suspension.

Now the obvious choice is the Bilstein B8 dampers but they are a bit pricey and I want to know if they are worth the extra money over say something like the B4s or even the Sach's?

Any feedback welcome

I'd like to know as well. I was about to go for the Eibach and B8's but can't find them anywhere for less than £500. I'm looking to pay near the £600 mark.

I'd like to know as well lol!

I too have an E93 330i running Eibach Pro springs so would like to know if B8 are worth the extra over B4.
Its not a DD and I love driving on B-roads where it can get bumpy.

Ive decided to buy the B4's but the sport version. Mine is a daily so I didn't want anything too sporty or harsh which is what the B8s seem to offer. Also the B4 sports are just over £300 for the full set.

I had Eibach Pro springs with normal M Sport shocks and the ride was excellent.
Worth noting I had 19" run flats too though

I have H+R springs with B8 shocks on my e92 335. The drop is perfect and the ride is less crashy than the sport suspension it originally had on.
recommend them to anyone!

If the car is just a daily I'd just get the Sachs shocks tbh. No real point spending extra if you just plan to drive to and from work etc in it.

Eibach's prokit is designed to work with the standard shocks tbf.

If you genuinely have the budget though and want to spend the extra then yes the Bilstein B8 is definitely a good option.

I wasn't aware there was a sport version. Do you know what the difference is to the normal B4?

Also do you have a link to where you bought them please?

The sport versions are for m-sport cars or cars with lowering springs (e.g Eibach). There are lots of good reviews around of the B4S dampers especially when paired with Eibach pros.

I have an e93 and I went with eibach plus bilstien b12 .

I got this kit http://www.larkspeed.com/shopper/i/1...Suspension-Kit

It seems to have gone up in price but I am sure you can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Perfect thanks for the links pal!

Looks like they're an upgrade to the MSport setup at least. I'll save the item then order them for my E93 in a month or two once my bodywork is sorted out.

E90 330d SE Man. Non RFT tyres. I had Koni FSD at around 100k miles with oe springs (they were not leaking). Transformed the car. My only comment would be that there was an initial slight baggyness felt on quick directional changes e.g. right/left lane change, but definitely massive improvement on oe. 20k miles later a broken rear coil spring meant a set of Eibach pros fitted. 30mm lower looks nice. Initially they seemed a little stiff and now over sprung/under damped but after few thousand miles, everything has settled and I'm really liking the setup now. Remember the car is an SE so I don't know how extensive the differences are with an MSport of the same year, whether its only dampers/springs or also affects antiroll bars steering racks etc, but tested a few new cars with the wife recently for her new one and my 11yr old 120k E90 330d feels firmer than an A4 2.0TDI Sport and about the same as the F30 330e MSport we drove.
