Had Car Detailed

Had my car detailed and thought I would share some pics.

Scratches removed and clay bar, sealed and waxed. Wheels ceramic coated too.

100 for the 4 wheels to be ceramic coated. would have been nice to ceramic coated the car but couldn't justify the added expense. The wax is good enough for m on the car, went for the wheels as they take more sh*t off th road lol.

Finish looks great. How much are people generally paying for their detailing? I'm planning on getting this done during the summer. Was contemplating doing a basic detail myself with clay bars, wax, sealant etc etc but may just get someone to do it for me.

I won't comment on the price I was quoted as not sure if it's normal rates or a deal as its a friend of my brother in law but it's quite a bit cheaper than the op.
I'll post some pics once it's been done as sometimes (mostly) you get what you pay for but looking at previous jobs the detailer has done it looks like he does a damn good job.
I am in Wales though

Washed, machine polished and waxed. Wheels were just washed and waxed as they are going to refurbed soon.

It has a few but they have been touched up with a bit of sapphire black for now. A front end respray beckons at some point though.

Same here but with mine being Titanium silver I have doubts as you see so many silver cars on the road with different shades of panels-half of me thinks stick with the chips as the bonnet is the same colour as the rest of the car.

What products have you guys had applied?

The beading on E28's is really impressive and uniform. Ive always done detailing myself but my tourer seems to have had a previous life at visiting the scratchy wash places as its got heavy swirl marks in places. Ive tried to overcome this as much as possible and gave the car a full de-contamination, strip and re-coat upon it coming home but i feel some sections need a tickle with a machine polisher to cut out the deeper swirls.

I recently coated a set of porsche cayenne wheels I've had painted for my T5 in Gtecniq wheel armour and was amazed with the results - I'm tempted to treat the BMW to a machine polish, ceramic coat and wheel armour at the end of the summer - but I'm a massive fan of collinite 476 too, that stuff is incredible!
