My dilemma

Having gotten ourselves a dog back in March the 335i hardly gets used as we now take the dog with us when we go out & we take the van & that's just getting boring now.
So we need a entertaining estate car probably a e61 545i as a interim car until the F31 340i/335i become more affordable.

So to get to the reason of this post;
I am most likely going to put the 335i up for sale, it's a 2006 e92 335i SE auto in silver & has covered almost 104k & I have owned it for almost five years
It has a quantum remap, JFA gearbox remap, mishimoto inter cooler, Apex lowering springs & red stuff pads
Comprehensive service history with all invoices/receipts during my ownership.

Now to my dilemma;
Unfortunately there's some bodywork that could do with being taken care of, I've had a couple of quotes & the lest expense one was £850 that's to sort some light scuffs to rear bumper & repair & paint drivers door which has a nasty shopping trolley mark & a medium sized dent.
It's also a concern how good will the finished job on the door look, would a prospective buyer notice & be put off?
The wheels could really do with a refurb as well & quote for that was £200.

Do you guys think it's worth getting these jobs done & spending a grand or so.
I would like to think I could get £7500 for it if the bodywork & wheels were done but who knows, maybe it'd be better to put it up for £6800 as it is.

Would appreciate your thoughts

I'd say just put it up as is and see how it goes, if you have no luck then it's another reason to justify having the work done.. doing the restoration now means you'll have to hope it's paid off when coming to sell, whereas for all you know you could have just sold it with the imperfections and maybe saved some money. Just my opinion

Agree with the above. I'd just try it and see. Some may not have an issue with it and prefer the cheaper purchase price.

I bought my car with a dent in the rear bonnet. Knocked some cash off and got it repaired after when i could be bothered. I would put it up but list the negatives and state that you have already considered this in the asking price.

Thanks guys.
What are your thoughts on asking £6800 for it as is?
Pads & discs are all good, pilot super sports all round with plenty of tread.
OFH gaskets recently replaced along with serpentine belt & new battery fitted & registered.
Is still on original turbos with no wastegate rattle & original injectors but is running fine.
Apart from the bodywork the only other thing it'd benefit from is a walnut blast.

I only did 300 miles in it last month
