Hi guys
My 2011 335xdrive is getting eibach pros and bilstein b8s,

I read it's good to change other components too, like top and bottom shock / strut mounts, is this correct ?

Also with the lowering springs is there some modification needed to the bump stops front and back or some retrofit from m3?

Also what is the b12 kit?

B12s are B8 + Eibach Prokit springs (just packaged together). So you basically bought the two components of a B12 separately.

B8s come with their own bump stops built into their dust cover. So no you don't need them and these are designed for each other.

Thank you blue water! That's strange code name being it sounds like they are b8 bilsteins just with eibach big called b12?

Unless they are specially tuned for the eibach and are different and called b12 (vs getting a b8 set and putting it with eibach ?)

Well they are designed to be paired along with the Eibach sway bar. So it's a packaging deal and I think it does work out cheaper to get it together. I personally just happened to get a deal on Eibachs and tried them with stocks before I moved them onto B8s (which I love).
