1/4 Mile Drag Race Night

I know it's still WEEKS away, but might as well start gathering interest.

Event: DFW E9x 1/4 Mile Shootout
Date: Friday, October 8, 2010
Location: Dallas Raceway, 8055 W Highway 175, Crandall, TX 75114
Meet Time/Place: UPDATE! 630pm @ Bone Daddy's on 75. We will roll out to the track at 700pm sharp! It's about a 30 minute drive to the track.

UPDATE 2: Track is closed Friday Sept. 24th. Sorry guys, he shut it down due to the Nationals in Ennis. Date changed to Friday, October 8 We'll keep the same meeting time/place.

PLEASE RE-POST IF 10/8 WILL WORK FOR YOU.

And it would be nice if we meet somewhere on 75 and then roll out together. Everyone will be like why is there so many bmws? haha

I'll most likely go...if I don't race I'll at least come out for support

I recommend ALL of you bring a helmet. Anything under 14.000 requires a helmet and our cars are capable of that stock.

Looking forward to it! Hopefully we'll have as good a turnout as the Brickhouse meet or better. Also, good call on the helmet note.

Yeah forgot about the helmet law. They told me the next time I run I'll need one. Ran a 13.632 stock and they went crazy haha.

I have one i can lend out- as long as you look like you washed your hair lately. Wookie- you are exempt from this rule for obvious reasons.

I'm going to try to make it out to Cars & Coffee tomorrow. Anyone else going? Classic had a frozen gray M3 in the showroom last time I was there. It was sold, obviously, but at least I got to see it in person.
