mods: JB3/DCI/Vk Dp/Stett Charge pipe with tial bov/Do stage 2 meth kit i dunno if am missing anything lol

cool, I'll put ya down. Trust me dude, it's a lot of fun. I've taken my bone stock 97 ranger to the drag strip before and had a blast in it...ok well, bone stock is a lie....its got K&N and flowmasters, but that's nota whole hell of a lot hahha

i'll join in, but might have to catch up with you guys; since i'll be coming off work from irving and 635 is hell at that time.

Car is bone stock, unless i feel like installing JB3 on this weekend.

even bone stock we run under 14's so bring a helmet or be prepared to rent/borrow one!

They won't let me run if I don't have a helmet? Are you for real? How much is a helmet?

Yeah, it's the stupid state law. There will be a few of us bringing our own so you can either borrow one from one of us, or rent one from the track. Buying one just for this is not advised. New helmet can run you at least $200.

I doubt I need it, ,with my driving and my slow mobile it'll be more then 14sec. Dnag it look like I have to borrow someone or rent one at the track then.

awwww that sucks. Car feels awesome with the new HPFP. Not sure if it's any faster than before, but it's definitely a beast! Can I still borrow your helmet if you're gonna be out of town?

I actually picked up a pretty cheap helmet over at Central Yamaha in Plano. They were running a sale (30% off I think). I got an HJC CL-31 for about $75. It's Snell/DOT certified, which shouldn't really be a big issue anyway. I have a buddy that ran his Vette with a skateboard helmet at the Dallas Raceway, and no one said a word. Looking forward to Friday night!
