dealer visit with catless DP+procede v4

I have catless Dps on my car ,and now i just found my tranny has a minor leak. I want to bring it to the dealer but not to remove the downpipe. what should i do to prevent the o2 codes? from visnnu support site it shows that i need to turn my CANclear off and switch to valet mode via DTC to "GAMBLE", but in my case, will the O2 modfiler(set at 100% at the moment) work in valet mode? should i set it to 50% since i will need to disable the CANclear?

im running procede v4 5-15 map.

Seeing as they will most definitely have your car on the lift checking out the tranny, they will easily see the DP's and depending on if the tech is a dick o not they will void your warranty.

I think the advice you will receive here is take them off.

thanks curt 2000!
my SA told me downpipe and DCI mods are fine, they have no problem with that but if I have codes then they will report my car to BMW NA.

the leak is from the "gain plug" at the back of the tranny, parts are very inexpensive but the labor is more than 2~3 hrs. to uninstall/install DP will cost me at least $450, so its not worth to take them off since the job is cheaper than $450 for sure.

that's stupid math, how much is the rest of your warranty worth to you, not just this one problem.

like i said i already talked to my SA about my mods and he said they are fine but must no codes. and for procede i have to disable(put it in valet mode) it so dealer can sacn my DME. but i dont know if the O2 modfiler still works in valet mod or not...

broski, i'm sure you'll be ok but use your head. the same bs happened to another guy on the forum, dealer said they were fine then shit hit the fan. better safe than sorry....if you came here to solidify your assumption instead of hearing other's opinions than why post?

also, whether they're ok with your mods or not, i was initially pointing out your bad math. you're assuming this one dealer visit vs. taking off dp's, however what you should be doing is the possibility of losing your warranty vs. taking off dp's. think about what i'm saying before you post.

When will people learn? Geez...it's your warranty do as you will but take out your tune at least for god's sake..if they see DPs only worst case they'll tell you they can't do anything as you have DPs..Again, your warranty

+1 on removing the Procede. Regardless of what your SA says.

Yes, it will work. But make sure you turn off CANclear (set the user adjustable called "valet" to 0). And then DTC toggle over to Map0 (single long SES flash) while the car is running. And you'll be good to go.

Make sure that you drive long enough on map 0 to reset all OBDII readiness codes. This will also ensure that your O2 sim setting is optimal. If you do not do this, as soon as readiness codes reset, you will throw a catalyst inefficiency code. You can check readiness codes with BT, generic code reader, or free at most autopart stores.

no codes + readiness set + map 0 + CANclear off + O2 sim optimal = good to go

This is still a risk but if you are determined not to remove V4/DPs, this will minimize risk.

thanks for the tip bahn!
i do have a BT tool as well(came from JB3 ).
i already talked to the service manager about this, they are fine with all my mods since it got nothing to do with my tranny leak(which is a very common problem).
again, thanks a lot guys for all the comments!
Stay tuned!

The transmission pan is made of plastic and they tend to warp and then leak. Your right, very common and easy fix. They won't give you new fluid but you do get a new filter. Good luck.

for the o2 sim optimal, should i set it 50% first and drive?
