Check the bolt torque (10 NM) and tightening sequence. See if some bolts came loose. Otherwise as stated, drain the atf (into a clean container for reuse), drop the pan, clean off the gasket and mating surface and reinstall. Is that a genuine ZF pan, or an aftermarket brand, such as eBay no-name brand? |

OP's post implies it was recently replaced. (I mean, it would not make sense if the pan was replaced like several years ago, as in typically the years-old N52 leaking oil like a sieve). The fluid sure looks new. Or maybe it was years old.
It is rubber, and *if* it was just been installed, so I do not think it is a problem. However, if it had been on there for years, then I would change out the gasket (it is sold separately from the pan). |
