I’ve got a ISTA -D, been working fine for a long time, wife installed anti virus software on machine, and then removed it but now ista isn’t working. If I click on the icon the blue circle spins for a few seconds then nothing loads.

Presume the virus software has changed a setting somewhere, anytime have any ideas where to start looking to rectify the problem, is there an auto run or something which can correct it ???

INPA still works fine though?....

Other than the pre installed Windows Defender I never install third party anti virus anymore, most the time it's a pain and causes a few issues similar to yours.

ISTA D not launching though could be absolutly anything. I'd say if anything do something simple like running ISTA D from the program files directory rather than the desktop shortcut and also run as administrator. If that doesn't work maybe "Event Viewer" may give you some error logs, I'm not sure if ISTA has a log file somewhere but that would be worth googling. But, ISTA is massive! It could be a 1kb file that's gone so I wouldn't spend a fat lot of time on it, I'd go to the coding section and look for J0K3R5 thread "Software Help Yourself" and just download for free the newest installable ISTA and get the latest Datens
