long shot...
hey just curious if you guys know of any shops that will pass a car with no cats. im trying to help a buddy out, he has a wrx with no cats. so im guessing he will fail though the obd2 port. Anyways if you guys have any suggestions PM me so the info is not public, ( he is willing to throw a few extra bills to pass as well).. thanks

You need to pass through the OBD2 port. I had a civic si with header back exhaust no cat. You could smell that thing in the garage and I knew a place that will ignore the fact that I was obviously cheating the system. I was able to spoof a secondary o2 sensor result with tuning software.
For subaru I'm sure something like that exists. I bet Cobb has something that will do it. No one can do anything without him "cheating the computer" as far as I know. Also have him look into O2 spacers/simulators. Not sure what they call it on his car, but if he mentions this stuff to his WRX forum they will point him in the right direction. |
