Swirl Flap delete
Does anyone know if I do the swirl flap delete if I will throw a check engine light and will it effect the workings of the egr in any way? Have a 09 335d with all emissions still in tact due to California regulations. I will be removing the manifold to change glow plugs, controller and looking into doing the delete. Will take a look at the carbon buildup as it has never been done with 124k miles on it now. Thanks.

I deleted mine last month awhile replacing two injectors. No loss in power cause going to the track and daily driving seems to be the same. But I also left it plugged in and left the shaft in but I guess you can take the shaft out too.

I am in the same boat...glow plug and module. 180k miles on my 2011 335d no record of cbu cleaning. Check out AAR on utube...he came up with a new way to clean intake by pumping degreaser through it. That is my plan if needed... Please post a report on the glow plug and module work... |
