Wheel spacers
So I can't seem to find my answer. This also may be a dumb question but Im pretty much a newb to all of this.
I've put new rims and tires on my 335xi (18x9.5 square set) but little did I know the front wheels actually sit against my struts. I was told I could just get spacers to fix that issue but then Ive also heard that the x drive is picky when it comes to wheels/tires. I need like 20mm front spacers but don't have a lot of room in the back to even this out and might have to put smaller spacers in the back. Ultimately will different sized spacers effect the x drive at all??? Thanks and sorry if this sounds like a sh** fest! |

The track width from front to rear won’t impact how the AWD system drives. Run whatever spacer size you need up front to clear the struts and hopefully you won’t have a new issue with rubbing on the fenders.
