This is my steering wheel.. Alcantara really feels great when you are just cruising and holding the top of your wheel

Haven't been here for a while....first time I've seen the alcantara D steering wheel. I love it!...hmmm....wonder if it's worth it to buy it and sell my M3 wheel with retrofitted paddles.

its a custom rewrap of a non sport wheel. much cheaper to do a custom job on a non sport wheel than to switch to a sport wheel cos you have to buy a new airbag, trim, multifunction buttons, airbag bracket, etc if you want to switch from non sport to sport.

Any suggestions on where to get a steering wheel re-wrapped? thinking of swapping out the alcantara of my PSW for some perforated leather. Would BMW do this?

yeah, that looks pretty legit. but for some reason where the perforated meets the baby smooth leather it doesnt look as flush as a stock wheel. either way that is what im looking to do but have no idea where to have it done.

I love mine.. alcantara/perf leather. I do sorta which the alcantara was leather too sometimes though.. It feels good when you are holding it but when your turning I dont let it run through my hands cause that can mess up the alcantara and it gets sorta annoying.
