I'm with you and with the 1%. There are coilovers and height adjustable coilovers. I have never heard anyone saying that only adjustable coilovers would be coilovers.

Just get your tires tucked a bit into the fender but keep it moderate IMO. When people say they want to "slam" their ride it just suddenly reminds me of DUBS, escalades, cadilacs, "rims", mexican, rapper, cheezy, ghetto, chrome rims........and so on. Maybe the term "slam" on a BMW forum is different, please clearify.
I agree... perhaps "slammed" was the wrong word. I in no way want the car to look like a low rider. :rocks:

true coilovers, like has been said in this thread, are really only found in the front of these kits, where the spring coils over shock. The rears of nearly all coilver kits, save some motorsport setups, have a stand-alone spring. The OEM kit is as much of a "coilover" kit as the KW Vs and Bilstein PSS. If you want to split hairs ...

Bilstein PSS9s!!! I have them on my E46 and love them. I do have a rough ride, but that is contributed by my Volk Racing wheels and low profile tires.
