You know, I always have this dilemma. There are so many old awesome cars. Yet... I think I've resigned to never owning one. Unless I can have a bunch of different cars, I KNOW I will hate them. sure, there is driving pleasure in driving a steam locomotive like a 'Cuda or a Roadrunner. But would I want to drive it more than a few times a month? Hell no. An aircooled 911... would be an awesome car, but would I want to track that? No. I want to track a car from the 21st century, with electronic readouts, various suspension settings and, most importantly, POWER.

And so on.
It's called a Z06 with magnetic suspension... Goes super fast in a straight line and around corners. Best bang for the buck out there.

If I didn't have a need for back seats I would have one of these alongside my S4.

Here it is compared to the green frog

Oh... And have I mentioned how cheap it is to maintain and how easy bolt ins alone can add over 100hp on that 7.2 l engine?

Oh yeah it's also more fuel efficient than the e92 M3.

Icar Thursday night drag night.

Jerry, nick and I are headed there tomorrow night if anyone is interested in joining us.

Jerry wants to see how much quicker he is with his full bolt on DCT M3 vs my stock DCT.

Afterwards nick wants to show is both what his S4 Quattro can do to inexperienced drag racers who will probably get too much wheel spin.

Also trying to convince some buddies of mine from Hawkesburry to meet up there. One has a 4.2 V8 supercharged S4 and the other has a chipped X6M.

I'm gonna have to butt in here too I am full aware that the barista is the main component, but i can safely say that I am the limiting factor in this equation

^^ very nice piece of equipment. To excel you need to become one with the machine. I constitently tweak the grind based on how long the bean bag has been open. I have it pretty much nailed down now and the milk froth is not easy...

Maybe Tony and I can take the machine for a test run (and while we are at it the E92 as well...)

I'm meeting Jerry at his restaurant around 5:30 for a bite before the track.

His place is 10 minutes from icar.

yeah i have the microfoam down close to pat. as for the grind, i find myself using up so much coffee that it becomes super expensive. i also have drip so i try and go through a bag of espresso beans (i use 49th parallel epic) a week. for this reason i adjust the grind for the start of the bag and then leave it there...the taste does not stay as great throughout the bag, but i waste less...it's a whole art. lots of fun

here's some pours

I've walked into my own wing once accidentally - while stationary. Never mind moving at 15mph. That look seriously painful.

@ Gewow...

You think a 50 whp advantage will give him a 7 car advantage?

I'm thinking more like 1 1/2 to 2 cars. I find the added HP really comes into play at much higher speeds.

Anyways we will see.

You coming tonite?

A beast nevertheless. I did not remember you had DCT, that in itself will blow a lot of cars away!

Here's a pic you will remember:
