Audio Through Bluetooth

I would like to play audio through my speakers via bluetooth. I know this is possible, because after ending multiple phone calls if I have a video resuming the initial audio plays through the speakers -- however, I know that just playing a video while connected does not play through the speakers.

From a technical perspective I know this is possible, and I was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to do this.

Thanks

If you have a CIC, you can retro a combox. Otherwise, you'll need to get something like a Tune2Air BT adapter. Just a professional HU alone does not have BT streaming capabilities.

The thing is though, I know that the actual audio is sent to the speakers. Through the iDrive you can connect your phone, start up a youtube video, have a friend call you, hang up and immediately return to the video and the sound will come through the audio.

Has anyone accessed the source code of the iDrive? That would be the easiest way to fix it without any need to change anything else.

I've heard of people getting the Bluetooth to stream but the quality was awful.

I'm selling my Tune2Air which is what you need (I went to an AirPlay/Miracast setup for audio and video).

Price? I don't see how the audio could be worse than the quality of the audio you get with your phone voice over.

I'll have to see if I can find some technical info on it.

tune2air or if you have android, the kinivo btc with the aptx code BT sounds great. i once played with getting the audio to play through the phone BT and it does sound horrible, you won't listen to that for long!
