Hi guys in new to these forums and I just picked a 2011 335ix coupe. I love it but I have 8k miles left before he factory warranty expires and I have been looking into Route 66 because the bmw warranty is so expensive. I wanted to know if any members can share how much it cost through penfed compared to DCU. DCU charges $2500 for 5 years 100k miles. Any help would be Greatly appreciated.

Bump. I am in the same situation. I get back to the states with the car this summer and will have 1 year or so left on factory warranty. Only have 15K miles on it right now, but dont want to have it without warranty up to that 6 year / xx miles point..

I spoke to one of their reps a couple months ago and they quoted me $1999 for the warranty

Mack do you have a 335 x drive they add for that. Also do you know how they work, good or bad?

ha ha ha, you guys are funny you drive $50000 vehicles and yet cry about $2000 extended warranty cost. We pay for the same cars $70,000 and our extended warranty (as per my friends quote is $4500). And all of that is just cause we live in Canada. Now do you really feel as they are stealing from you people???

A warranty is offered to make the company money. Chances are higher that you will not use $2500 in repairs than you using more than that. It's a roll of the dice.
