Full boost available w/ oil temp at 122 F / 50 C ?

Alpina, in their B3 press release, claims full boost is available at 50°C / 122° F:

"As demanded by any enthusiastic driver, the provision of essential information in the form of the analogue oil temperature gauge located below the rev counter means the B3 Bi-Turbo can be pushed to its limits, once the minimum oil temperature of 50° C has been reached."

Isn't this a rather low engine temp for pushing a car to its limits?

Yes, in my opinion. I try to wait until at least 150 degrees. With the oil cooler, on cool mornings, it sometimes takes forever to get to stabilized 240degrees.

Agreed. No WOT here before normal oil temp is reached on ANY Turbo vehicle.

No kidding. I have to drive about 3 miles before my oil warms up to ~200 degrees.
