Full boost available w/ oil temp at 122 F / 50 C ?
Alpina, in their B3 press release, claims full boost is available at 50°C / 122° F:
"As demanded by any enthusiastic driver, the provision of essential information in the form of the analogue oil temperature gauge located below the rev counter means the B3 Bi-Turbo can be pushed to its limits, once the minimum oil temperature of 50° C has been reached." Isn't this a rather low engine temp for pushing a car to its limits? |

Yes, in my opinion. I try to wait until at least 150 degrees. With the oil cooler, on cool mornings, it sometimes takes forever to get to stabilized 240degrees.
