06' 330xi alarm
Just bought an 06' 330xi can anybody explain this alarm situation to me seeing this is my first BMW........HELP!!!!

If you have the build sheet for the car you can see if it pre wired which almost all were.The module should be available and after install it will need to be coded.

I have an early MY 2009 which came pre-wired for alarm, likely as yours did. As I understand it, they stopped including the alarm pre-wiring in mid-MY 2009.
I bought the alarm kit from Tisher/getbmwparts.com for $225. It included 3 main components: A hood trigger switch, ultrasonic glass detection unit (goes in center dome light module) and a siren which goes in the left rear wheel well behind the fender liner. I did the install myself with basic tools, but the alarm did need to be coded to operate fully. I did notice, even prior to coding, that the clown nose would blink when the car was locked with these new components installed (it hadn't worked prior). |

Ok cool I'll do some research thx... $180 is pretty decent tho. I appreciate the help this is my 1st bmw so I'm like in a class studying for a test lol

Ok so I went on the website...now my next question is do I have to buy each component seperately? The way they hv it listed is by each piece smh I'm confused lol
