Headlight protective film

I want to have my headlights professionally buffed and restored on my 2006 e90. Should I add headlight protective film on afterwards?

Yes that's a good way to keep them fresh. You could alternatively keep them waxed, ceramic coat them, or clear coat them.

Yep - I did mine on my previous 2004 Miata and then laid protective film over them. Still looked new when I sold the car in 2017.

I used Lamin-X. Seemed to be the best on the market and was very easy to install.
