Fitted clear diffused led side repeaters. One went in real easy. The other was a pig and refused to clip back in the wing.
Happy with them now they're fitted. The OEM ones were cloudy from 11 years of UV light. |

https://4x4shop.ca/product/bmw-e90-e...cc-cic-system/ I used up a lot of wire in the trunk since the trunk opens both ways. I needed to make sure the wire wouldn’t rip when it flipped up for the top. I’ll get some photos of it ran through the trunk today. You don’t want it binding or being smashed by the trunk or the top. The cable for the camera looked long so I figured it would be enough. I also cannot remember how much slack I left on the cable behind the glovebox. The supplied cable in the kit had the video signal and power signal side by side. The power wire was long enough to reach the camera, just the video was not. Going to make a small extension for it.

I bought neo chrome 3.5” dual exit and polished 2.5” staggered exit. After holding them up, I decided I’m going with 3.5” non staggered polished tips. The red VHT spray tint made the lights look darker than oem, sort of like a smoke tint too.

only took a few hours.
now I have to clean everything while it's out. All because the drain can't handle a single leaf. |

Crap that seems like a pita. Clogged sunroof drain? I've never checked mines but this is definitely an incentive to do so before it's too late

Should just wrap the headliner and pillar while it’s out.

it was a single leaf. I could blow and poke all I wanted, but next time it rained the leaf just went back to the hole.
It's apart, so now it gets cleaned. Thems the rules. at least when I put it back together I don't have to see stains at the edges anymore. big fuck you to safelite for gluing the a pilar trim pieces in with urethane. made that part super awesome. |

Fixed m3 bumper center lower area to the car using stock 335i brackets.

I made the extension for the camera.
Power wire was longer for some reason. I trimmed it to the length of the video cable. This is how close I was to connecting the 2! Heres some photos of it. I’ll pm you additional photos of the wire routing. The outter plastics on the trunk liner slide towards the outside, not downwards. Just and FYI. Almost broke mine trying to pull them down.

I finally took her out last Monday and no matter how long she sits, fires up without cranking, for real. It just never gets old driving the E92. A Sonata 1.6T blew my doors in, and I just laughed to myself. Not saying that's a bad car. I just looked it up and it's only got 180 HP/195 ft. lbs. I assumed 300 the way he was driving!
Was thinking is my AC as cold as it should be? Forgot to turn the thumbwheels to blue. What do they actually do? lol |

"I" did not do this per se, but she has been at a German Performance shop getting down pipes installed. I shared the MHD logs with them. They state there is no fuel issue, that there is a boost leak in some of the wastegate hoses, they will replace them while doing the downpipes. Overall the car checks out very well.
Can't wait to get her back today!

Been driving around town breaking in the clutch, and I am extremely happy with the swap. Everything works as if it were original, and it's awesome. The Valeo single-mass conversion clutch feels great, with just a little bit of chatter to it. Only a couple brackets, an undertray (the automatic tray doesn't have the spat for cooling the manual trans), and one piece of sound insulation (below) and it'll be completely done!
Does anyone know what the part number is for #4 in this diagram? I cannot find it anywhere on RealOEM, or anywhere else.

I got a goddamn spacer stuck on my hub. I can't even do a simple spacer install on this car without getting boned
If anyone has any ideas on getting it off, please throew them my way. I know I'm not the first dumbass to do this as the issue was very easy to avoid, I just got too excited. The hubcentric ring on my hub was taller than the cut for it on the spacer bore. by like .5mm or so, I thought it had a been a press on because it was so close I had put the wheel on and did a star pattern like 50 times over at a quarter turn at a time on each bolt because I was scared to break something. I heard a pop and immediately backed the bolts back out. Removed the wheel and found the hubcentric ring on the spacer had snapped clean off leaving the spacer itself basically pressed onto the OEM hub lip. I've tried torching it (the spacer cools down too fast), PB blaster, deadblow + flathead / gasket scrapers.
