6hp26 to 6hp28

Hi guys,

New to the forum but read really great treads and opinions. I am wondering if someone can help me out with swaping the 6hp26 with the 6hp28 on e91 3.0D XD. I already did the hardware part where I will share my knowledge afterwards but now I am faced against the wiring and software part. Just wondering if I need to make some coding and also if someone can help me with the shifter connections will be really appreciated.

Hi, Did you ever figure this out? I'm having similar issues going from 6hp26 to 28.
