08 335I smoke on deceleration

Hey guys, so i’ve had this problem for a while where only on decel and the car is hot it smokes when transitioning from boost to vacuum. I replaced the valve cover and put a catch can on the low side of the pcv system. What could this be? i’m considering the fact that it’s turbos but i’m telling myself it isn’t. this car when i had it up in the air had oil weeping from the intercooler, which tells me the pcv was bad before. I’m kinda thinking it could be residual as oil takes a long while to fully clean out. And the thing is, sometimes even when it’s hot it sometimes won’t smoke on decel especially when i drive it gently. i’m kind of at a loss here, any help would be greatly appreciated
