328i starting problem

So my 328 xi hasn't been driven in over a week now, and I went to turn it on today, and I heard the ignition sound, but it got cut off and the engine wont start. The rest of the interior and doors get power, so im not sure what the issue is.

Check battery....sometimes my car doesn't ignite the battery light on dash but battery is low and accessories will still power up.

I had the same problem. It's definitely the starter.

ground Cable on drivers side engine.
It Visible from top.....kind of.

also....here why not test your starter.
If you car does not start.
then.... get a LONG Extension. (I used 6 inch and 4 inch Socket extensions)
when you see your intake ports, the Last 2 cylinder ports. (near windshied)
put your extension right in the middle of them and you should be right on top of the Starter.....(physically touching it with your extension)

Now start lightly knock it with a hammer or anything.....and I mean Lightly..
enough force of a first tap of a Nail being driven in on it's first contact with Hammer)

then go start your car.
if it starts or shows sign of starting more than before.....it's your starter.
PS: did it 5 months ago.

Good luck.
