e92 started smoking

Hey!
Was driving an usual route home today, abt 30/40km with my e92 2008. Reaching home I started smelling this weird smell. Arrived home, stopped moving but engine still on and it started throwing in this white smoke from air vents, and i mean a lot, the car was like a hotbox… Thought that maybe coolant started boiling. Checked the coolant temp 30min later and it was 75°C. 2h later opened coolant lid, air whistled out and filled to top so probably no leak there. Checked the oil, normal level and color. Anyone have had something similar? To begin with I don’t even know if it was coolant bc I couldn’t tell from the smell… Havent also noticed any leaks anywhere and had 0 warning lights on dash. Any ideas anyone?
