Fried CAS, what to replace, what to code

Hi , A transistor in my CAS module recently fried so I am not able to use the OBD reader anymore.

I have the choice of buying a cas module from the dealership (expensive af).

I have the option to buy a cas module from the local scrapyard , lot cheaper but may require advanced tools to code ISN and VIN of my vehicule on the old cas.

I have the option to buy a cas/dme/keys also from the local scrapyard for higher price. In that case, do I even need to code anything or other modules won’t work anymore?

If I go with the third option, what are the steps to bring my car back on road?

Thanks
