Side mirros stay dim while headlights are off

I have a 2007 335i, it came with auto-dimming side mirrors. I have changed out my side mirrors to M3 mirrors and also changed out my rearview mirror to one with the auto high beam camera. The rearview mirror has been programmed and works 100% (rain sensor, auto high beam, even the dimming in that mirror itself)

When the headlights are in auto and not on, the rear view is not dimed at all but the side mirrors are dim at like 20%-30%. Once it gets dark and the lights come on they dim to maybe 40%. if a car or i shine a light on the sensor they will fully dim as they should.

I had a 2nd rear view mirror with the high beam camera and it did the same thing to the side mirrors. If I unplug the rear view mirror the side mirrors will stop dimming and be as they should be. So I'm not sure what's going on but I would love to get this fix.

The side mirrors are E92 M3 mirrors.

Thanks!
