I haven't used it personally but Tiago is a good dude, VRSF is well established on this platform. I'd buy it with confidence.

I have one and can post some pictures tomorrow. I like it mainly because of the bov placement.

People will tell you it's crap... sell it if your'e running methanol... etc.

I personally think it is the only reasonably priced CP on the market. I bought one, tightened that sucker down when I installed it. No issues/Works Great. TiAL Q fit on there nicely as well.

There is one issue people will bring up (well actually a couple, but let's focus on this one), if running methanol the bung location is said to not be ideal. I'm not sure how the bung shifted over 4 or 5 inches could greatly affect atomisation (I know LSx guys are commonly injecting almost directly infront of their throttle bodies). To be on the safe side/if it truly is an issue, you can just tap the output side of the intercooler piping for even better atomisation... compared to brand x, y, and z that care "superior" due to their meth bung location.

Ignore the 1/4" vacuum tubing, I used 1/4" Fuel Injection Hose because it is reinforced/won't collapse. Use worm gear or corbin clamps.

I ordered one a couple weeks ago and tracking says I should have it tomorrow! Already got the tial bov in the mail so from the looks of things it should be a quick easy install! I can post pics tomorrow if it comes in. Side note, does anyone that has it already know if it comes with the intake hole covers?

Thanks for the support guys.

I'll talk to my engineer and see if it's worth it moving the bung a couple inches back. Last I checked it was put where it was due to the ease of installation and intake clearance.

I had some installed already (hardware store ones), vrsf provided the exact same ones. So incase they don't, run out to truevalue (or other local mom and pop hardware) and get the cheapest furniture legs you can find. Thin hard plastic ones worked best.

I didn't see it to be a big deal anyways, especially when you can just tap the intercooler output pipe. But if you go through my threads, the issue is brought up by another vendor. I believe it is the school me on methanol or something like that thread.

Thanks for clearing that up. I've also considered installing a bung on the intercooler's end tank, that may be a better location.

Our kit does include the intake block offs

Any plans to run the flanges for OEM/forge DV setup?

Honestly anyone freaking out about atomization via the chargepipe on this platform hasn't looked at the giant hump in cyl1 for the manifold. Pretty 'meh' atomization regardless of where you inject it pre-TB. 3 inches in the charge pipe won't make that much of a difference, intercooler end tanks would be nice. But the only way you're going to get even spray across all cylinders is direct port.

We're going to have a Forge DV setup in the near future, no plans for OEM retention since the plastic dv's are prone to leaking & failure after a few thousand miles and a few more PSI than they're designed to handle.

I've yet to see one OEM platform with plastic DV's that can hold more than OEM boost reliably.

That is good to hear. Look forward to the new setup.

I'm not too familiar with the OEM DV but I thought they were setup the same as the Forge DV as in they were interchangeable?

To accommodate the OEM DV's correctly you'd need a CNC fitting for each DV in order for a proper seal. Simply connecting a coupler and clamp to the OEM DV isn't going to create the correct seal and is poorly done.

With the Forge setup you also have to worry about the maintenance and failure of two DV's rather than one BOV. If sound is your biggest concern, I'd suggest a large diameter high flow valve like the Tial BOV which is quite a bit quieter than your conventional BOV.

Thanks for the explanation.

Got me thinking about a BOV setup now.

If you don't mind not having the c-clip I am sure this is as good or better (because it is cheaper) than other non-c-clip CPs. I personally liked the c-clip bc I am not a fan of silicon couplers so I went another route. Id sum it up as this ... If u want c-clip connection get ER ... If you want silicon connection get this.

We're going to have this same charge pipe with the C-clip option available on the 16th in powder coated black finish
