do you have his number? I might look into getting it done from him.. I'm looking to do maybe 20% on my Arctic, my friend was going to do it for me for $150. but I dono what kind of tint he uses and I'm pretty sure its not ceramic ( I have CA ).

OK, Update. The Tint looks great from a distance, but I have some new issue with it... I dunno how to describe it, it's a weird fractal pattern that seems to have gotten worse. I'm certain Jim will take care of it, but I've just been slammed and have yet.... To make it back.

Mostly I am still amazed with the ceramic tints ability to keep the heat out. Impressive stuff.

I'll post again when I get it fixed. Will be doing the same tint again regardless of the weird problem I am having with it. It looks awesome and unique so... Yeah.

With 20% in my 335i and 15% in my Audi A4 I have no problem with night driving. Both cars were done at Jim's place. I guess I have the same minor quality issues as Revlis.

Any Updates yet? The other day I've seen a E92 328 Coupe at Wholefoods in Seattle and its rear window looked PERFECT..... No vinal or anything..... I should of waited by their car and ask where they got the tint.....

From the sounds of yours.... it did not turn out fine after the 1st try???

Actually the instal was good, I mena it was perfect, but there is something screwy with the tint itself.

As I am glacial with my "getting Round to its" I still haven't gotten it fixed. I am willing to bet that I got a bad bit of Tint.

BUT as you've waited so patiently, I will post up some pics of how it looks now. Both Blown out to show detail and as it appears in life.

BTW, besides the tint itself, your dot matrix looks just fine from that one picture.

Revlis, also make sure that your rear defroster doesn't get all messed up if they have remove the tint from the window. Removing tint sometimes kills the system.

Oh and yeah the Defroster is a concern, but I am confident right now that it'll get handled properly and without drama. I am sure this is just a fluke.

Whats weird is it's not even tint pulling away from the glass. It's something in the material itself... Very Strange.

So anyway, Monday I should have some better answers and everything I will be all squared away. I kept hoping that the weird patterns were some element of the final phase of curing, that it would go away. Instead it's continued to develop a lovely psychedelic pattern. It Kinda looks like Flames really... Go Figure.
