Just got the charge pipe.. Looks to be complete, besides missing one worm clamp and the supposed vacuum hose that's supposed to come with the bov.

Aren't you supposed to steal the one off the stock charge pipe?

That's strange, I'll have to check the remaining ones we have in stock. Shoot me an e-mail from the website with an order number & I'll make sure to get you that spare clamp.

I have a question about the size of vacuum hose.. I'm not sure if mine is t'd of y'd or whatever, from what I've been reading. What's the best way to give the TiAL a 1/4" line? |

Tial doesn't include the 1/4" vacuum hose anymore. I called and played 20 questions with them lol main reason being different applications require different lengths.

Looks like we have to add it to the kit now lol. Anyone who hasn't received one, just shoot me an e-mail with your order number and I'll have some sent over as soon the hose arrives.

For those of you who don't want to wait on shipping, 1/4" vacuum line is about $1 ft at auto stores. Also, with the Tial you will need to do one of two things; A. get a reducer to connect the 1/4" to the factory 1/8", or B. drill and tap your manifold with a brass 1/4" connector to run the full 1/4" hose that Tial recommends.

The stock plastic charge pipe is prone to cracking and sometimes upgrading your charge pipe and going to a BOV or upgraded DV can be rather expensive.
The OEM style configuration is therefore one of the most popular upgrades for those who just want to upgrade the charge pipe itself but stay with the OEM DV system. |
