In the last couple weeks......
Bought another JB4 G5 (second one). Installed and uninstalled PTF e40 flash. Flashed BMS E85 flash. CD ran awful....just terrible. I have it a day and quickly uninstalled JB4 and ref lashed to PTF E50. Car runs like a raped ape. Installed old BmS DCI in place of my AFE DCI Pro Dry yadda yadda....ran for a week and uninstalled back to AFE. Fiddled around with spacers on my M359 AG's. Found a cracked vacuum line...replaced. Swapped silver AG center caps in place of OEM roundel caps. I like the silver look. Bought stud kit....too short. Lesson learned. Ordering Macht Snell kit. Pulled front drive shaft (335xi). No issues. Car smokes with PTF E50. Ordered VRSF Kittyless DP's and DP fix. CAN'T WAIT. Smogged car last week and have two years to play. Will be DIY'ing the install. Tracked down oil leak....oil filter housing gasket AGAIN. Just replaced it 6+ months ago. WTF? Will redo this weekend. Super lame. More that I can't think of. Always keeping busy! |

Switched over to Stg 2+ FMIC Aggressive from Sport and ran some logs. 1st run post shift looks a little messy. Thinking maybe it was still adjusting. 2nd looks ok and 3rd runs looks best much cleaner and that one was after 25 min of driving.

Turned 91k. Tomorrow is my car's first birthday of my ownership. I'll probably buy it a car wash.

Replaced my fender cause my old one got a crack when I got sideswiped. Diy'd it cause I'm boss like that. First of all, I did that shit in the AZ sun. Big mistake. I had to take several "cool down" periods between tasks. I wouldn't wish this job on my worst enemy. Start to finish like five hours. It's faster/easier to change your spark plugs. Halfway through I took a huge 30 min break cause I felt heat exhausted and threw up a little. Fun times.

Took filter out, cowl, engine cover, and cleaned engine bay with car was pressure washer. The previous owner spilled oil when doing oil change, and spark plug galleys were full of oil. Smelled burnt oil every once and awhile. Put it all back together, and shined engine bay. Also installed RPI scoops. Got them used, but don't get them. Install is wack!

Took it to Turn In Concepts in Cincinnati this morning for a walnut blasting and installation of a VRSF 7in, ER Charge pipe, RB PCV valve, and an inline fuel pump kit. Awesome work guys, thank you!
Then stopped by the station for more E85 and flashing the JB4 E85 bin now

Replaced Headlight ballast on drivers side headlight, while troubleshooting i think i may have messed with the adaptive function, no side to side and up down motion, but no errors when lights are on. And also fixed my windshield washer pump and reservoir. There was lots of gunk blocking the filter, and now my windshield washers shoot damn near on the sunroof. very productive day.

Finally removed my CDV along with a clutch and brake fluid flush.
What a difference, the clutch operation is butter smooth now, no more jerkiness. Should have done this 4 years ago |
