nothing is worst than 100+ people died in the same area on Friday the 13th.

Prayers goes to Paris.

Yes, of course that was worse. But what happened to OP's car still sucks.

Thanks for all your condolences, friends. Life goes on, have it roped down with a fancy native american knot on the front for when I drop it off at the collision shop Monday.

Hoping to use this for some leverage to maybe get a few things 'updated', so all is well in the world.

If this was somewhere like, oh I dunno, North Carolina, then I'd say the ass that hit you probably wasn't insured. Am I right?

Sorry to see that

It happened to me before with my Acura TL-S. It is hit and run so I couldn't catch him. A dash-cam would have been nice to have

No biggie. It prompted me to buy carbon fiber mirror caps and I bought a carbon fiber lip spoiler, so hopefully with a redone face everything will turn out nice.

I'll report back once everything is done.

Sheesh, and I thought being 20 minutes late to work was bad. Sorry to hear that.

Happy Friday 13th

I found
a black cat who crossed my path, gave it some milk, then tripped over it
walked under a ladder, narrowly missing a paint pot falling
stepped on all the cracks in the pavement,
I broke my wing mirror,
Spilt the salt from my macd's which came to $6.66
my office is on the 13th floor

anyone else had a great day ?

I booked a trip to Curacao today...for next Feb, deposited about $5K into the bank from various clients, and had an acceptable experience at Wendy's for lunch. Overall, been quite a good day.

I intend to go home and drink scotch most of the night and possibly play Assassin's Creed - Origins some more. Great game.

Edit: Oh yeah - I never hear from Biorin anymore - anyone know if she's ok? I hope the tax monster did not get her. But if you're out there, Assassin's Creed - Origins - quite good. It's not Elder Scrolls, but visual effects are great, huge open world just like Skyrim it seems from my limited time playing it...very good.

Little cards you can buy at the bars here, rip off the tabs and see if you won. Pretty much the same as scratch offs.

You neglected to inform us that you were also at a bar today. Isn't that also a good thing that happened today? Tsk tsk, get it together man.

Don't they number the stories 11-12-14-15?
I can top that:
I was at the County tax office. That's never good luck.

Oh interesting. I've never seen those sold, only given out at stores for freebies, discounts, etc. Must be a Midwest thing.

I agree.

Just started AC- Origins last weekend. I really only game a couple hours during the weekend if I'm not working, but this game has called me back during a couple days during this past week.

It seems like they took a few pages from The Witcher 3... another extremely well done and highly addictive game.

Back on the topic of suspicion (I'm not a superstitious person at all) is it also true that sweeping over someone's foot with a broom considered bad luck...?
