Ok, since everyone is pretty much still active on this thread, Ill just go ahead and post up pics from this past sundays drive. I don't have many of the ones with us in it as people, just the ones of us on the road in cars. Also, at the end you'll be able to see a very rare encounter I had on my way home. Enjoy!!

Thought it would be interesting to see who's still active and maybe everyone will update their current status.

As for me, the E92 is history. Since starting to work outside the home office (totally unintended) in 2008, the daily commute of 12 miles round trip from stop light to stop light and Long Island snowy winters, finally broke me of the 6MT - RWD addiction and I traded it in for a 2014 Mazda CX-5 GT w/Tech Pkg last February. Loved owning the E92 but do not regret my recent purchase, especially today, as we were inundated with 10" of the fluffy white stuff. If I still had the E92, I would be stuck at home rather than being stuck in the office. Wait a minute....did I say I don't regret my recent purchase?

We've enjoyed owning the 2009 E90 and experiencing ED created some fond memories. Driving your own car on the roads it was designed for, is really something special. But long term ownership of BMWs can get pricey and we recently placed an order for a 2014 E84 (see sig).

Looking forward to tracking it's progress from order to delivery, as it has consumed a few of us in the past and anticipate it will do so again.

Great idea Steve!

I ended up getting rid of the e90 back in 2010 and got into an S4. After two years of loving that car I ended up changing careers and started selling Audi in Princeton. I am now on my second S6(traded the first one in after 6 months because I didnt like the color). This car is an absolute beast! If anyone is looking for an Audi please send them my way.

I figure once every 6 years or so is a good interval to check up on this group. Some have remained in touch one way or another. Here's an update on what's going on in our lives since 2014:

Car wise: The E84 was our last BMW since we didn't like the direction BMW was moving in. Less driving excitement + less included maintenance = NoMo BMW

Home wise: Totally unexpected, we sold the house and bought a condo, closed on both 1 year ago. We were in the house over 39 years and my entire collection of Roundels ended up in the dumpster. There's a lot less stuff you need as you get older!

Personal wise: We became grandparents for the first time Nov 2019. The little guy is almost 8 months old and is the joy of our lives! This sucky Covid-19 has put a damper on our time with him but we're doing the best we can to keep everyone safe and healthy.
