Hello fellow E90 owners! 1st post. I'm new to the E90 world. The map on my CIC is the 2010 Premium which is slow and really, really out of date. Unfortunately, the link in the first post no longer works. Could anyone help a fellow in need?

Guys, the torrent works fine, but is slow. Speed is anywhere between 0.1KB/sec and 100KB/sec.

When i get back to the house, i'll create a new torrent.

E90 LCI 2011.
I updated the map in 2016 – bought a key online.
I now have ECE Europe West PREMIUM 2016-1
I can’t remember much about the process though…
I’m trying another update.

Thanks for the link. 2019-1 WEST maps downloaded ok in around an hour.

I’ve used ‘copie_scr.sh’ on a memory stick to retrieve these files:-

1b.hex and fsc.bat

BMW_CIC_NBT_FSC_Generator.exe doesn’t have 2019 maps in the list.

What I can make out is, changing the date codes in fsc.bat to 0x28 0x38 and executing fsc.bat in dos window with 1b.hex in the directory should result in a
Code.txt file with the key in it.

I’ve missed something, because typing fsc in a dos window (with 1b.hex file in it) doesn’t complete. IE. Doesn’t create a code.txt file

This is what is in fsc.bat
@echo off
fsc 1b.hex 0x28 0x09 > code.txt
fsc 1b.hex 0x2D 0x09 >> code.txt
IF %ERRORLEVEL% EQU 0 ECHO File code.txt was created successfuly!

I replaced 0x2D 0x09 with 0x28 0x38.
I’m guessing there are two lines in there because its been updated once?

What am I doing wrong?

Is the hex file 319 bytes? If not you need to chop it up. Code to use is 0x28 0x38 not the ones in your examples. Put the hex file and fsc.exe somewhere easy to find eg c:\1b then open cmd window, browse to that location then:
fsc 1b.hex 0x28 0x38 > code.txt
Will save code file to same location
OR just use a newer code generator, apparently they have 2019-1 in there

I didn't have fsc.exe in the directory, I had fsc.bat

Yes. The hex file is 319bytes and has now generated a code.
