Bashing? Dude, honestly all i'm bashing is their support. N55 has even less then N54 and there is no excuse for it at this point. I'm not really interested in going JB4 at all, like bme30 said... the meth integration is king... i loved it. I've sent so many logs and ideas to Shiv's team and actually got it running great with great timing etc... and never heard anything for months. I'm keeping it for a reason, i still have faith in the product - just waiting for that right moment to jump back in if the water is warm.

Same thing here. I think the Procede is a well designed piggyback, and mine runs well on aggressive beta with my intake/intercooler. However I have been hesitant to add DPs/Meth because (especially meth) would mean i am stuck with the Procede, especially after reading multiple posts about FBO cars not running right on Procede and then perfect with a different tune. I hope to see more positive feedback from FBO(+Meth) people after this new firmware, otherwise COBB+HFS4 is starting to look mighty fine..

I heard somewhere that you can buy an AP and reflash the fueling yourself to work with the procede.

True, that can be done easily. However, some wouldn't want to pay that much for a somewhat limited flashing device. Cobb's margins are nice...for them.

The number of tables available to the end user, at least for ATR, ATP has more tables to access

I dont think thats what he meant. I think what he meant to say was that some people do not wish to shell out $800 for a device that they will not be using to its full potential i.e. tuning but instead simply for reflashing fueling.

This makes sense. saying it's limited is not. procede flash isn;t magic, and you can easily use ATR to solve your fueling needs. Just ask Joshbody

It is limited in two ways. First was mentioned already, it has a limited number of tables that you can modify. The second limitation is even worse, did you know that it is limited to one vehicle only

first limitation is not an issue for procede flash, no magic there we all konw what these flashes are about...

2ng point, so you want them to give you a 750$ device that you can use to flash unlimited cars and not only use OTS, but also tune peoples car lol

I mean don't get me wrong that would be great for all of us, it would definitely be the coolest feature ever (putting aside that they will go out of business)

I am not very well informed with the Procede unit and I am considering getting one in a few weeks. But what will be the benefit for no VIN locking? Is that I can take it my local tuner and have them make new maps for the car?

It means when you go to resell the u it if you do, you will gain more money back as the unit is already unlocked, as opposed to you selling a locked unit and taking a hit on the cost for the buyer to unlock the unit. You can also swap it over to your buddy's car without any problems if he's looking into chips for the n54

All you have to do with COBB is uninstall it and it can be sold to another car. It only stays VIN locked as long as the tune is on the car.

Not yet. Our development car (DMAC's 135i w/ FlexFuel) has been down for the last several days. Waiting for a new clutch/fw assembly from Spec. Once it is back together, I can wrap up the final bits of the tune and release it

New firmware will be released as soon as we are done testing. Our flexfuel test car was sidelined for nearly 2 weeks due to delay from Spec Clutch. A much-needed clutch/fw cheduled to arrive tomorrow finally.
