Would 'Hold on Tight' not be more appropriate for Booforty's driving?

It was a good concert but not as good as when I saw Wings play at the Norwich Odeon in 1978. "Jet" is an absolute belter... I can guarantee that The Best of Wings will get the lions share of airplay on the way to UK5...

Jet! Whoo hoo whoo hoo...

Of course Wings were incredible. Who could deny the lyrical brilliance of 'let em in':

Quote:
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Do me a favor, open the door and let 'em in

(Repeat)

Yeah, let 'em in

Sister Suzie, brother John
Martin Luther, Phil and Don
Brother Michael, auntie Gin
Open the door, let 'em in, yeah

Sister Suzie, brother John
Martin Luther, Phil and Don
Uncle Ernie, auntie Gin
Open the door, let 'em in, yeah

Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Do me a favor, open the door and let 'em in
Ooh yeah yeah, let 'em in

Sister Suzie, brother John
Martin Luther, Phil and Don
Uncle Ernie, uncle Lynn
Open the door, let 'em in, oh yeah

Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Do me a favor, open the door and let 'em in
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

(Someone's knockin' at the door)
(Somebody's ringin' the bell)
(Do me a favor, open the door and let 'em in)
However, nothing could surpass the 'frog chorus':

If only the beatles had collaborated with Rupert Bear. The White Album needed more frogs.

The Frog Chorus is bloody genius...

Lyrically I thought "I'm in the mood for dancing" by the Nolans was the best song ever written...

For poetic brilliance it beats Ted Hughes hands down:

Quote:
I'm in the mood for dancin', romancin'
Ooh I'm given' it all tonight
I'm in the mood for chancin'
I feel like dancin'
Ooh so come on and hold me tight

Dancin', I'm in the mood, babe
So let the music play
Ooh I'm dancin', I'm in the groove, babe
So get on up and let your body sway

I'm in the mood for dancin', romacnin'
You know I shan't ever stop tonight
I'm in the mood for chancin'
I feel like dancin'
Ooh from head to my toes
Take me again
And heaven who knows
Just where it will end

So dance, yeah let's dance, come on and dance
Dance, yeah let's dance, come on and dance

(*Repeat)

Dancin', just feel the beat, babe
That's all you've gotta do
I can't stop dancin'
So move your feet, babe
when I get up close to you
With your cords on, a nice pair of tasselled loafers, white socks, home grown chest hair and the Nolans giving it their all on the stereo no woman (or pig) could resist

Donington is THE best track I've driven! and I've done Donington of course, Brands Hatch, Snetterton (don't ask me to spell it LOL), Silverstone, Oulton Park and Cadwell.

Be careful round Craners, but they are awesome and Coppice takes a bit of mastering too, think both has already been said!

Most of all HAVE FUN! and book an instructor they are worth every penny, of just £35!
