If you don't have them on your car how would you know that they will cost more to install than the cost of the side skirts themselves?

We all know that there are fitment issues right out of the box with Long's and Brandon's. I remember hearing about ironic's.

they would fit if "they" got someone to trim it for you and sold it to you already altered. THAT IS NOT stated in the description.

Hrmm... Guess we were given false information - we were told they fit with very minor modification. So much for that! We'll pull the product until we can figure out a way to make this work.

Kenny,

My concern here is that you are advertising on your site that there are no fitment issues ... the OEM M sideskirts are 1 mm longer ... we all know this from pictures and I know this becuase I have installed them. There are fitment issues.

You need to have a body shop to adjust the length of the sideskirt itself and how the sideskirt sits on a non M e92, the side skirts at both ends sit out about a mm as well.

Cool. Thanks for jumping in. For those who have looked at the product before in anticipation of getting it for themselves, we know it takes modification to make it fit. No BMW Service Center will do the work without the customer knowing it will require body work. That part is misleading on the description. Obviously, the part about not worrying about fitment issues is the most misleading.

Please do. It is created unneccessary speculation of issues that have been addressed before.

From what I know, BMW won't install these sideskirts on NON M cars because of the possibility of thigns going wrong in trying to make these fit.

He modified it. Brandon's also had to be modified.

Sorry, I don;t kiss and tell.

I didn't get a measuring tape to determine the true length, but I felt it was noticable enough for to advise people not to go that route. I am a perfectionist, so maybe my persepctive and tolerance of what is acceptable in terms of being "off" is biased. But I felt that if it were my car, I would not do it.

Yeah from what we know you will have to trim it a little as well as modify the clips to hold them in place. So in that sense it's not a direct fitment and we did NOT state that it was. I guess we were thinking of "fitment issues" in the sense that even if you were to adjust them they will not fit proper.

I'll have Jon change the wording so that it's more clear.
